local or international and has some of the best connections in the jazz world.
From marketing to A&R, promotion and production, Wulf has worked in all
areas of the music business and brings his wealth of experience to All-In-Music
Service.
1980 Manager of Viennese jazz-club Miles Smiles
1983 Started to work for PolyGram Austria as Product Manager
for Import Music Service, then UK/US repertoire
1986 Head of International marketing department, PolyGram Austria
1989 Head of A&R local and Jazz, International and
National Marketing Department, PolyGram Austria – Executive producer for amadeo
jazz, working among others with Wolfgang Puschnig, Wolfgang Muthspiel and the
Vienna Art Orchestra.
1990 Marketing Director PolyGram Austria
1992 Moving to London as International Marketing Director Jazz, PolyGram International
1996 VP Int. Marketing-Jazz, PolyGram International, Responsible for all local Jazz signings (on Emarcy label)
1999 VP International Marketing Classics & Jazz – Universal Music Group International
2003 Added International Jazz A&R for Emarcy Label to portfolio
2010 Left Universal
and started All-In-Music Service S.L. and work as Jazz Consultant for Universal
Music Group International
2012 was hired by Sony Classical International to re-activate the old OKeh jazz label on which the first album (John Medeski) was released in April 2013.
2019 Sony Classics is closing down OKeh Records again despite garnering 1 Grammy Award plus 8 additional Grammy nominations, 4 German Jazz Echos plus 7 additional Jazz Echo nominations, 2 Dutch Edison Awards and nominations plus awards in France, Japan, UK and other markets, as well as a NAACP Jazz Album of the Year Award and a few # 1s in various jazz charts around the globe. Just doing a bit of independent A&R and artist advice now, but is since November 2020 officially retired from the music business.
